— The biggest day on the pro wrestling calendar is here, with some 80,000 fans packing out MetLife Stadium for WWE’s WrestleMania 35.
For the first time ever, the main event features women, with one of Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair or Becky Lynch to walk away with both WWE Women’s Championships. In other major bouts, Brock Lesnar puts his title on the line against Seth Rollins, and Batista faces Triple H.

Foxsports.com.au is live in attendance and will have all of the news as it happens plus match reviews and videos of the best moments here in our blog. The pre-show is already underway with the main card starting at 9AM AES

The show features three Australians as Sydney’s The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce) are involved in a four-team match for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Melbourne’s Buddy Murphy has already lost his Cruiserweight Championship.

John Cena is rumoured to be in the building and could have a surprise match, while The Undertaker is seemingly less likely to appear. But there are always shocks and big name guests at WrestleMania.

WWE Raw and Smackdown Women’s Championships: Ronda Rousey (c, Raw) v Charlotte Flair (c, Smackdown) v Becky Lynch (Winner Take All)

WWE Universal Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) v Seth Rollins

WWE Championship: Daniel Bryan (c) v Kofi Kingston

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Bayley and Sasha Banks (c) v Beth Phoenix and Natalya v The IIconics [Billie Kay and Peyton Royce] v Nia Jax and Tamina (Fatal Four Way)

WWE United States Championship: Samoa Joe (c) v Rey Mysterio

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Bobby Lashley (c) v Finn Balor

WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship: The Usos [Jimmy and Jey] (c) v Ricochet and Aleister Black v The Bar [Cesaro and Sheamus] v Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev

Shane McMahon v The Miz (Falls Count Anywhere)

Kurt Angle v Baron Corbin (Kurt Angle’s Farewell Match)

Roman Reigns v Drew McIntyre

AJ Styles v Randy Orton

WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Tony Nese defeated Buddy Murphy (c)

The Aussie drops his title in the opening match of the show, unfortunately. The crowd was still filing in so as usual it was hard to get too much heat behind this one but great work from the cruisers as always.

Let’s hope Buddy can maybe bulk up and move up to heavyweight now, since he otherwise could get lost in the 205 Live shuffle.

WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal won by Carmella

It was the ol’ “I’ve won… oh no wait someone didn’t get eliminated”. Sarah Logan of all people looked to have prevailed, sending Asuka out, before Carmella snuck in and got the victory. NXT’s Kairi Sane and Candice LaRae were surprise entrants.

WWE Raw Tag Team Championship: Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder def The Revival [Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson] (c)

The champions came out first for the second time on the night, and then lost for the second time on the night. Curt Hawkins ends his losing streak.

Fine match, but it’s always weird when you get WrestleMania title changes on a six-day build.
