Finding the right career can be difficult especially for the minors
Cause it’s hard to find out the perfect career for them, that’s why I am writing this article because picking the right career is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make in your life because when you pick the wrong career, you can waste a lot of time and years, and time is one of the only asset you can have that once it’s gone, it can never be gotten back. You may lose 100,000 dollars and you can get the money back, but once your time is gone you can never get it back.
Have you ever had the experience when we were in school, you’ll pick a major course and after sometime you’ll drop it and say, “I don’t really like this course” and then you’ll pick another one, and another. The truth is that most of us pick course based on what my mother told me, my friend is reading this so I’ll read it . But in-between you’ll find out you’re wasting a lot of valuable time.
So here’s my first piece of advice if not sure of what career that suits you and you’re still young, it means you have not tried enough things, yes…because it’s like sports how do you know what sports you’re good in if you have not played enough, let say you only play football your whole life, and then you’ll say maybe this is a great career for me, but how do you know, have you tried basketball, volleyball, ice hockey, even tennis, you won’t know because you’ve not tried.
Now in life you’ll have to find your place, before I continue would like to say that though when looking for what you love doing, if you only focus your attention on what you love doing, you’ll struggle financially, because there are so many people out there who love the job they are currently doing but they are struggling financially, so the first thing you’ll have to do is find the money first, even if it’s not something you love doing, just find the profit, after you have found the profit, you can now go for the career, it’s still ok if the career you’re about to pick can make you profit, in the Asian culture especially the Chinese culture they don’t care very much about passion, they work long hours just to make the profit, but it’s quite different in the north American culture, the north American culture, cares more about passion rather than profit. Although there’s nothing wrong about both philosophies but I would advise you to focus on profit first, you need to find something that can make you a lot of money, by so doing you’re getting the money out of the way, and enough time to focus on your passion,
If you then find something you’re passionate about now if you combine profit with passion you make more money because you love what you do, and if you love what you do you will definitely get good at what you do, now if you do that consistently you have definitely picked a career for yourself.
